Cooling at 5ºC cold storage. Fermentation at 24-26ºC with 3 daily pigeages. Macerations between 6-10 days. Aging during 6 months with french (80%) an central european (20%) oak barrels from 1st to 4th year.
LaFou Celler is Mr. Ramón Roqueta Segalés’ personal project. This younger member of a family whose winemaking roots can be traced back a long way is clearly confident that the Terra Alta wines have a rosy future. This project is based on the area’s long winemaking tradition as well as its great potential in terms of future wines. The winery is located in the main street of Batea (C/Major) in Casa Figueras house. This 18th century stately home is currently owned by the Roqueta family. They have renovated the house to create a unique space with modern winemaking equipment.
