Next Saturday 28th of February, during the winter pruning time in Terra Alta, ViOrigen organizes a pruning workshop and a typical rural lunch   \u201cCal\u00e7otada\u201d in Mas Teresa<\/em> farmhouse.<\/p>

The pruning workshop will be held at one of the vineyards of the winery Josep Vicens<\/em> located in Gandesa. During the activity, we will explain how the different winter pruning types are performed. There will be the possibility to practice some pruning of the vines of this winery.<\/p>

Then we will go to Mas Teresa farmhouse, located between the municipalities of Gandesa and Batea, where we will offer a complete \u201cCal\u00e7otada\u201d with the typical \u201ccal\u00e7ots\u201d, grilled sausage, artichokes, young wine Vinyes del Grau<\/em> from the winery Josep Vicens<\/em>, dessert and coffee.<\/p>

It will be a typical winter activity, where we will learn in a practical way how to perform the traditional winter pruning in Terra Alta in the vineyards of a historic winery in the area. In addition, we will link the work in the vineyards with the farming kitchen, because we will reuse the wood of the pruning to cook the \u201ccal\u00e7ots\u201d.<\/p>
