With the name of Bàrbara Forés, Manuel Sanmartín and Carmen Ferrer (husband and wife), have wanted to pay tribute to the great grandmother Bàrbara Forés who born in Gandesa on 7th February 1828. In the 90’s, Carmen and Manolo took over the winery making a bet on a paradigm shift and eventually becoming pionner winemakers in Terra Alta. In 2014, Pili Sanmartín Ferrer joined to the family craft, the sixth generation since Bàrbara Forés. Pili provides a new point of view.
