Temperature-controlled fermentation and maceration at 28ºC in stainless steel tanks for 26 days. Aging during 14 months with french oak barrels and 24 months in bottle.
Altavins Viticultors is a Batea-based winery which was created in 2001 by Joan Bautista Arrufí and Jordi Casadó. From the very beginning, this winery has worked towards putting the traditional Terra Alta grape varieties in their true hall of fame.
The winery is small, with production limited to 120,000 bottles per vintage. This means that they can take the greatest of care in producing the grapes and transforming them into quality wines.
