Fermentation of the grape skins with grape juice. Aged in French oak casks with its lees during 6 months.
Located in the village of Corbera d’Ebre, Celler Frisach is based on a long-standing winemaking family tradition. This unique, young and very personal project is based on offering maximum expression of the native grape varieties by using traditional techniques in winemaking as well as organic farming methods. The location of the vineyards, in the midst of the former Ebro battlefields (July to November, 1938), plays an important role in the project. Some of the wines made by this winery pay homage to what happened here during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1938) and how these historical events left an everlasting mark on the land.
