Did you know that the word vermut comes from the French words vermout or vermouth and in the same time comes from German word wermut and means maid? Maid is an aromatic plant with bitter flavour which is very common in almost all vermouth secret recipes.

The time of vermouth has become in a great social movement in last years. An a perfect excuse to meet with friends and relatives to eat tapas before lunch, in summary, to have a nice time.

It is said that at the beginning of twentieth century the Italian Flaminio Mezzalama introduced the tradition to have vermouth in Barcelona, and in few time extended for everywhere in Catalonia and then in Spain. It was a great gastronomic phenomenon that has increased in the last few years.

Our proposal after having an amazing weekend in Terra Alta is about to sitting in our tasting room or terrace (depends on the season) to enjoy and discovering with the activity Terra Alta vermouth tasting.
